My professional journey began over 30 years ago when, while in college, my work with children who had learning disabilities sparked a lifelong passion. This experience motivated me to earn two Special Education certificates alongside my Elementary Education degree. After graduating, I began my career as a Special Education teacher in Duncanville ISD, working with 6th through 8th grade Resource students. During this time, I pursued my Master of Education, achieving both Professional Reading Specialist and Professional Educational Diagnostician certifications.
Today, I bring this deep, specialized background—which includes being a Nationally Certified and Registered Professional Educational Diagnostician, Reading/Learning Disability Specialist, and holding Advanced Certification in Brain Training—to my private practice. With extensive experience in public schools, charter schools, and private settings, I specialize in working with children, adolescents, college students, and adults who face challenges in the areas of ADHD, Dyslexia, Learning Disabilities, Auditory and Visual Processing Disorders, and all other academic and work-related hurdles. I am dedicated to using my expertise to help you achieve your full potential.
