This meeting is an opportunity to ask questions and ensure you fully understand the results and recommendations.

Executive Functioning/ADHD Evaluation
Our Executive Functioning/ADHD Evaluation provides objective and realistic data using multiple sources of information. The purpose of this evaluation is to give parents and other professionals (i.e., physicians, psychologists, counselors, and the school) valuable knowledge to make educational or treatment decisions.
Instruments administered measure:
- Executive Function refers to skills used by individuals to manage everyday tasks such as planning activities, resolving problems, and adjusting to new situations. The computerized test given includes two components of executive functioning: Attention Control (AC) and Cognitive Flexibility (CF).
- ADHD is a developmental disorder characterized by an ongoing pattern of difficulties including one or more of the following: inattention (trouble staying focused) hyperactivity (in constant motion), and impulsivity (interrupting others). Many people with ADHD also may have low self-esteem, troubled relationships, and do poorly in school or on the job. A continuous performance test is used to assess both Visual and Auditory Attention and Response Control to confirm the presence of ADHD symptoms.
The Executive Functioning/ADHD Evaluation report and recommendations are based on referral data that includes sociological, school, and work histories, presenting symptoms, other issues disclosed, assessment observations, interviews of client and family member(s), rating scales, and computerized test results.
